Bulk tapes from tapes.com..?
I live in a small town, and there are no places to get high bias cassettes. Looking online I found this page: http://www.tapes.com/index.php?cPath=95_129
My question is, which, if any, of these should I order? Are these bulk tapes worth buying in the first place? I'm using a tascam 424 portastudio if that helps. Thanks for the help! |

I recommend TDK SM60 cassettes. They're great, as are Maxell XL-II 60, if you can find them.
Check out this thread for links and more information. I may or may not need to say this, but always use 60-minute-or-less cassettes. Anything above is not recommended, for reasons related to tape thickness. Hope that helps! |
