Didn't find a hello thread so...

Hi,
Just found HomeRecording.com! I started off playing bass almost thirty years ago (though just a beginner today). Playing and recording music is what I do with my "free time" (read: after work, after play with the kids and they are in bed...once everyone else is alseep...the "other magic" begins!). I love being a dad and play music with the boys whenever they are willing to play or listen. Here to learn, and maybe some day, have something of use to offer.

I think you'll find that "life-story" to be common here! And I mean that in a good way--you've got lots of company on that road through life & music. Welcome to the board and enjoy your stay!

Hola señor ratchethead, yep that's basically my story too, the years are a little off but not by much! Except 'after everythings done' never really happens, so I gotta just sneak away here and there when I can....

Tuborg is good, so is Carslberg, try a norwegian beer called Hansa if you get the chance.



how to get a profile pic.

go to UserCp on the top right corner.

chose choose user profile picture option in the control panel.

Ha, I've been to Norway a few times, but only one time did I step on land and I was drunk!!!! It was Hansa!! Thanks for bringing back memories. I met some of the nicest people in the world in Bergen!!!

I see ya found the avatar options. You can also upload a pic from your pooter and just resize it to specs. If I remember right, it tells ya the size you can use.

I don't know how to link videos but I've got an excellent vid of a cat on my mysp page. Just check my signature at the bottom and scroll a little ways down the page. You'll see it on the right. I've watched that thing about a hunnered times and laugh every time.

Indeed. I remember when I first heard of Spongbob, I got a bit confused and called him Squarebob Fagpants. My kids were NOT impressed with me.
