Hi,
I've done a search, but haven't come across anyone else with a similar problem.

I'm using a macbook and I just purchased an Alesis IO 26. I'm having trouble getting the computer to recognise the signal. I have it playing back iTunes and on Logic it's seeing the interface and I'm assigning it to that, but it's as if the sound is just passing through the interface and out of the speakers (which are connected to the headphone outs). Thing is, on system preferences, it's getting a signal on the little blue signal bar in the input sound settings. I have downloaded the drivers, but admittedly have limited knowledge as to what they do, this has led me to think it could be the problem. I really need it working as I need to start building up a portfolio soon!
