ribbon mic advice
i'm trying to get a hold of a blue woodpecker but it seems all the prices in the uk have upped recently by a couple of hundred £'s
i'm desperate to try one of these after hearing a demo on vocals & acoustic guitar. seemed quite bright & condenser like for a ribbon.i was wondering if anyone can suggest any similar ribbon mics that are a little more wallet friendly?.... incase i can't fund the woodpecker.

For a brighter sounding ribbon, maybe try the Beyer M160 or M500 models.
