Pasting over audio

I want to past a region over an existing region, but I don't want the pasted region to erase the region underneath. How can I paste a part of a region on top of another and still hear both?

Help would be great!

you'll only hear the region you paste in, or the visable top region. you need a new track for both regions to play simultaniously.

I know what you mean, I used to use Sonar where you could do that and it was a nice feature. But you have to make a new track in Protools. Theres so many other advantages to protools though so don't go back what ever you do!
