The two closest to the MOA are Groth Music (a few miles west of the MOA off of American Blvd and Nicollet) and the Guitar Center in Edina.

You may be able to get a deal at either of those places but some people seem to think that GC doesn't move on the prices at all anymore. I doubt that Groth will have either of those in stock but give 'em a call anyways - I'd rather you shop at one of our locally owned stores, if they can get you what you want, ya know?

The only 'music' store in the MOA is Best Buy... Which I will not recommend.

There's a smaller place out in Golden Valley (30 minutes away from minneapolis when traffic's bad) called My Music Store, you can usually pick up a pretty good deal there if you're buying used. Music-Go-Rounds are pretty decent, too.
