midi keyboard?

I have a midi keyboard that is usb powered so all I need to do is plug it into the computer for it to work.

I bought a usb hub in order to have enough usb ports and so I can use my monitors through my interface for playback.

when I'm adding a midi device from the device menu, the one i have plugged in is not showing up.

what's going wrong here and what should i do in order for it to work?

What kind of keyboard is it? You may have to set it up manually because some lesserknown brands won't show up. This was the case with my Simmons drumset
