Completely reconstructing samples?
What's a good program besides Pro Tools that can disassemble and overhaul a sample sound?
For example, turning a kick drum into an unrecognizable sound that you would never guess was its former. Or changing a vocal line into a distorted robotic type of sound that a machine would make. |

Any audio app can do that. What matters is not the app, but rather the plug-ins. The app is like a foundation, the plug-ins like the walls. You have to have the foundation so the walls have something to be built upon, but nobody ever looked at a building and said, "Man, that's one nice looking foundation."
