AKG 240MKII Headphones

I got a set of these for Xmas and I love' em. Open backed so it annoys people sitting in the same room, as you can hear the music outside the headset.

Found something interesting.... I mixed on my Event TR8's and it sounded okay. Then I put on my cheapo headphones (Koss TD80's) and found the mix was really bass heavy. Disappointed, I shut it down and call it a day.

This morning I listened through my better headphones (AKG K240 MKII). It sounded pretty much like I remembered through the monitors, which was nice.

Not cheap but then again I didn't pay for them....lol.....

Definitely recommend them....

AND, the Beyer Cans, CLOSED, can also OPEN good sounds. Durable and clean but maybe these days the unit is a little pricey.
