Pro tool lag
has anybody experienced pro tools lag when playing over a previous track. I can deal with it by turning the "mix" down on the mbox mini 2 but play back is not loud. Anybody have any good ideas or experiences fixing this. THanks!

Go to SETUP>PLAYBACK ENGINE and take a look at the H/W BUFFER SIZE
When recording set this value to the lowest number you can without protools giving you an error when you hit record. When playing back/mixing, set this value to the highest number. Hopefully that fixes things ![]() This doesn't have anything to do with your problem, but below that is RTAS PROCESSORS, if you're running a multiple core processor set this value to half the number of cores or processors you have.
