when i record i get a lot of hiss noise.. it didnt do that before.. do you think im setting it up wrong? or could it be adobe audition

Hi,

It could be the channel's mixup... or the input of soundcard is high level to high.

Could you describe your setup? (type of mixer, soundcard, windows or mac,etc?

Try to see the input and output channel, and see the level for each channel
if you are using the windows os watch the sound and audio devices in control panel, are they correct?

If u use a mixer, or multitrack soundcard be carefull with audio signal route, check the cables, some of them have hizz noise...

When u use the adobe for recording do u notice some peak noise on input channel, do u listen some fuzz noise even without recording.
