HELP!!!! Yamaha Rock Touring Customs

hello,
I am new here and have een all over the web and teh some trying to find at least 1 person ( other than the seller) that can give Me some insight on a Yamaha Rock Touring Custom kit from the 90's. I am seeking a pro line kit and have an oputinity to gain a HUGR kit for a great price but am unable to locate ANY imformation on these kits. are they good or bad? scale from 1-10 how are they? can they be ungraded to the new YESS system? need I do anything speacial to them for mixing? all I have played ( for over 20 years) is Pearl, MMX,BRX,Forum,Export.... those I know about but like I said have a gret deal in the works but the kit is WAY to far to go and check out so I seek advise, ANY that would help Me. please feel free to post or e-mail Me. am sorry for all the rambling is jut that I bought a PDP off e-bay as I was told is wa as good if not better than DW.....BIG MITAKE!!!!!! never shall I listen to My lead Guitarist AGAIN!!!!! got a royal "you-know-what" on the deal....5k for drums and hardware (DW rack and all)that turned out to be only worth 2.5K
is just I wish NOT to repeat that mistake again. if You can please help before they ship Me off in a padded wagon to the physco bin.
