akai s200 help

i got the akai s2000 and i read the manual up and down. im trying to sequence it with the rm1x. i can take a sample and play it up and down the keyboard. i want to assign individual sounds to different keys but im havin problems . i make a sample into a program. then i m lost,,, i can get the program to play up and down the keys too . i see somthin about keygroups in the manual. if i want to have one key per sound what do i set the keygroups 2? im about to loose my marbles here,, someone please help.,

Say you make 20 key groups. Then you go and assign each key group to a span of keys. Example: making a drum program.
assign keygroup 1 from c1 to c1, keygroup 2 from c#1 to c#1, keygroup 3 from d1 to d1, and so on. Then you assing your samples to the keygroups. So if you assign a kick sample to keygroup 1, then that sample will play on key c1 and only c1. Then keep assigning samples to the other key groups.

thanx ,, you laid it out 10 times better than the manual! that manual is written from back to front i think or the middle to the outer pages.
