Give me total CONTROL! or.....
Surface Tension
![]() I'm looking for creative alternatives to dedicated control surfaces. I've looked into:
and other input devices specifically designed for the job of mixing on computer software. What I would like to know is has anyone had any success using hardware that wasn't specifically meant for the purpose? I understand that as long as a midi device can send sysex information, you should be able to use it to control audio software. Anyone have experience with such things?

I was thinking more about products like the Kawai MM-16 or a Lexicon MRC.
The idea is controlling software with a CHEAP ![]() alternative. Thanks
