Troubles with Tascam DP02CF

Hello, i have just bought the Tascam DP02-CF port-a-studio and i am having a few problems i am wondering if any one can give me some begginer tips on what to do.

I have figured out how to record (Insert head phones with, Arm Track, Turn track fader and master fader up, turn ear phone volume up insert guitar in input one, Hold Record button and press play and play away) feel free correct me if i am doing some thing wrong.

Problem 1, once i have finished i press stop then rewind then press play to listen to what i have done and it does not play back to me out of the ear phones.

Problem 2, I want to be able to put my songs on to my PC, i think i have to save the files in to WAVE, Utility or back up but i dont know how to do this

If you drop down to the TASCAM forum, I'm sure someone will tell what's happening.

Really sounds like a simple procedure to play back what you record. IF it's not recorded for some reason, no playback for sure.

I don't use Tascam but the AW1600 is, like most other recording boxes, are SIMILAR in most operations.

I'm sure you'll catch a ride on the Tascam Forum.
