I've got drums recorded on 6 separate tracks in SX2. I did a few takes of the song, so I have a bunch of lanes showing for each track. Obviously I would like to edit the lanes simultaneously for all six tracks, but I can't seem to figure it out.
Basic example: if I want to mute one of the takes, I have to do it six times. It would be immensely easier to mute, say, just the kick take and have it mute that take for all 6 parts. Is this possible? I tried linking channels, control clicking, etc. but nothing works. I couldn't find anything in the manual or on the boards. Any help is much appreciated! |

groups
Looks like if I shift click each take (meaning the corresponding take from each of the tracks) and then do Edit->Group that it solves my problem. I have to do it for each take but I think it does the trick.
If you know of a better way, please let me know. |

Send all the takes to a group (have a group for kick, snare, etc) and then just mute the group when you want to mute an instrument
