Thoughts on Guitar Fetish P90s?

I have an old beater that I want to mod to put a single P90 in (currently has a DiMarzio Fast Track). Are the P90's from Guitar Fetish any good for the price? Other suggestions?

I have a couple in my most recent Xaviere.

Unique sound from any of my other guitars, humbuckers, singles, active or passive, but not alienatingly so. Bright, barky, articulate, they take higher gain pretty well, even in the semi-hollow body. I get all the P90 fanboyism now, these are great. It instantly became my primary guitar in my indie rock band, even better with the Bigsby added. I'm trying really hard not to buy a second as a back-up. I may fail.

I have some of the Mean 90's in a Les Paul and I like them a lot! They give you the clean tone of a single coil when you back off the volume, and a nasty rockin' tone when you hit them hard. It basically turned the LP into a LP Special.

Look under Humbucker sized pickups on the GFS site, and you will find the Mean 90 and Dream 90 pickups-they are the same size as a humbucker so you don't have to chop up the original pickup slots.

Beautiful guitar you have there Ermghoti

Thanks for the info. I'll probably pick one up.
