pro tools wont start?

when i try to start up pro tools, it comes up a message something about hardware ot insterted

how do i get past this.

none, i thought i can do everything on pro tools

i borrowed it off a friend to test it out before i go and purchase it for myself

If you have LE you got to have a Digidesign hardware interface like the Digi003 or Mbox. And with MP you got to have a M-Audio interface that's been qualified by Digidesign.

So think you're out of luck.
