Windows 7022 and firewire?

Hey,
Has anyone here running PT 8.0 tried to upgrade to Windows 7022 yet? And if so are you able to get it running? Everytime I try to start it up it tells me to connect my interface and hit ok. I do that but it wont work. Im thinking its the firewire drivers but I cant get it...

Windows 7 isn't supported by Digi as far as I'm aware. Check this page to find out.

Also, isn't 7022 like a beta-release or something? Maybe there's issues with the OS itsself...

Well yeah I fiured its not supported by digi but all thats needed are the proper functioning firewire drivers. I managed to get PT 8.0 installed on Windows 7022 but when I actually go to start it up it keeps telling me to make sure my hardware is on and hit ok. But nothing Ive done can get it working...
I just wanted to know if anyone else has tried this and got it working?

This may or may not work (and doesn't relate to PT), but to get my Presonus Firepod on Build 7000 working I had to go into Device Manager and install the legacy firewire drivers. If memory serves me right, you click update driver -> choose from list, find the firewire driver install the one with (legacy) after it.

On a side note, isn't 7022 a leaked build? As far as I know, Microsoft hasn't officially released any builds after 7000 and public downloads are closed. In other words, they may have changed some things relating to firewire in that build and the build itself is not going to be officially supported (if you're even supposed to have it...)
