Nuendo

I know this is a Cubase thread but since they are close enough maybe someone would know the answer. All I need is for the midi tracks to adjust their speed according to the tempo track. The metronome speed is changing according to the tempo track, but the midi instruments remain at the same tempo. Shouldn't the midi events automatically stretch to the tempo track? Or is there some setting I'm missing?

Found the solution elsewhere.
In case someone else needs to know, the midi track has to be switched from linear mode to musical.
