Firefly 808 or Motu 828 mk3

Hi has anyone got any opinions on this Phonic interface, it has great specs
but it is very cheap, I was looking at Motu 828 mk3 which has similar spec but is twice the price

From the computer side of things, it should be as solid as any other piece of BeBoB gear (a little bit spiky CPU load, but otherwise fairly solid when connected to all but the most craptastic FireWire cards). No opinion on the analog electronics, as I've never used one.

Spec-wise, I'd give it my tentative thumbs up, or at least as far up as I can get them without actually trying one.

I was looking at the motu as it says it has all these I/O but really a lot of them are lightpipe not sure how that stuff works, might be getting a bit deep for me.

what i am after is an interface that works in conjuction with a live mixer analog or digital, so I can get the hands on feel to mixing using the mixer rather than the mouse and bank switching. soory I`m waffling on
