Very Frustrated; NEED HELP
I am trying to find the right drum machine for my next project. I'm having a really hard time and was hoping you all could help. I need a machine that offers realistic sounds but will also let me sync it to an old analog unit. I'll probably be using a JL Cooper PPS 110 to stripe SMPTE to tape and use the same unit to convert the SMPTE to MTC. The problem is a lot of newer machines don't have sync options built in and if they do, they require midi clock (which I don't think is the same as MTC) so . . . . there you go. Any help you could all give would be greatly appreciated.
