blankets. curtains on the walls

Hi, I was thinking of covering the walls with blankets/ curtains for some ghetto sound proofing. What difference would this make? Obly micing I do is guitar and vocals.

Here's some of my music if you need an idea of what I do:

As soundproofing, it will be unmeasurable. Literally nothing. As room treatment, it'll attenuate very high frequencies a bit. High frequencies being about 3% of the problematic frequencies in the average room, that makes it pretty worthless.

Broadband trapping, lots of it, all the time, every time, no substitutions.
