Question Multiple LRC Slplitter????

My studio is pretty big.....
Need ADAT help.....
I want to have a remote at my "guitar station"..... one in the vocal room, and one over at the keyboard areas, so when I record myself, I don't have to get off my ass, and walk back and forth to the machine. I will have a control for every area.... I have 3 LRC's..... but how can I make them, all work together....

My Idea....PLAN A>>> Have all three jacks hanging behind the adat, and label them.. 1, 2 , 3... plug whichever one in for the session per recording area that I will be using.....

There has got to be a better way.... I have my single LRC in the vocal booth, and have a 50 foot headphone extention to run it......Works perfect.....NOW, What if I introduced a 3 way headphone splitting box, or something of the same idea.... should that work?

Or is this all retarted, and I should just stick to plan A?

Any help is appreciated....

Joe

Hi, VOXVENDOR,

Would a 1/4" switcher box work? I've seen guys use them to switch guitars that they are using.....

just a thought,

Mike

Thanks Mike... Blue Bear Sound...(Bruce) told me via email to use my patchbay for it and just patch which ever one I will be using at that particular time... It's working quite well.... Thanks anyways, for your input... I've been reading your posts around here and you seem knowledgable.

Since you can't split the LRC (or it goes beserk) what I did was the one at my console that's always hooked up goes through a 1/4" connector that is stubed out on the microphone patch panel in the sound room and is"normaled" through. That way I can take a LRC with me out there. Also I have another 1/4" that goes to the "punch in" connector on the ADAT so I can connect a foot switch for, what else, punching in and out.

What would be awesome is if they were wireless.... I wouldn't mind paying 20 bucks a year in batteries for this convienience.... I guess it's no use suggesting this to alesis now. What a shame I liked them.

Hey now VOX, we're still here!

Mike>>>>I hope so... I love alesis stuff. They made the most popular Drum machine of the 90's (sr-16)... my cheap little microverb 4 is an awesome value, and sounds good (for the price).... My adats are all either refurbs or used, and I still have yet to have any problems with them or there components....
