Latency with firewire

I have a M-Box2 and it gives a little latency problem even when your only using 128mb when recording.
I´ve read somewhere (I think it was here at homerecording) that you will get less latency with a firewire connexion like a Digirack 003. Is this true??
Best regards
HaK

if I read it right in this book, then yes, firewire will cancel any latency problem. I can't remember how you do it, but I believe you can fix the latency problem with a usb connection through pro tools

Make sure your DAE buffer is low as well, and adjust the "mix" knob until you can't hear it. You will have to turn up your headphone mix, or your headphone volume itself when you do this though
