You have genuinely captured the feel of an angelic rabbit hopping about. Napoleon's Little Sleep, once I know the explanation, is outstanding. I think as a musical piece it would stand better if it had a powerful bass line.....like maybe a bunch of cellos or bowed uprights. I fully understand staying up in the treble clef when talking about a bunny though. The idea of bass representing a rabbit is ludicrous and would very out of place in a memorial like this one. I especially like the way you start the tune with a very 'hoppy' bouncy feel and then progress ever smoother to the end. It makes me feel as though I am looking at the bunny's life....and its passing. Nice work, Sed.

Napoleon's Little Sleep

Nice spaciousness here. I liked the use of the sax sound, and I thought the synchopated string notes at the start was a good touch.

The strings with their lonnger notes provide a good contrast to the staccato piano.

Like Up-fiddler, I think a strong bass line would benefit the track. I think of the piano as representing the river, and the strings and sax as representing the terrain. The bass would just add to the geography.

Small sea

I like the change at 40 seconds, and then at about 1 minute. Then I think w're roughly at the start again at about 1:40.

This is an okay piece, but I've heard a greater sense of progression from other material of yours.

Little Froot

This is a short guitar-sounding piece, lasting just over a minute, and shows considerable promise. With the way you currently assemble songs, the guitar sound provides a more complex sound than the piano, and is, for me at least, more satisfying to listen to. In this one, you have captured pretty well how that piece would be played by a guitarist.

In itself, it is not enough . . . but it would make a great lead in to something more involved.

This track has a feeling of melancholy, probably reflective of your loss. It's always very sad to lose a pet. Somber song.

I thought this track was quite similar to the first one in some respects. It sounds like a good foundation to develop further.

Of the three, I liked this one the best. It has the New Age flavor that I enjoy.

Napoleon’s little sleep

Get the whole rabbit thing, which is great. Like Dave I would like to hear some bass. I do not think you will lose the ‘lightness’ in fact it will stand out more because of the contrast. We see the white clearer against the black.
Does the rabbit die? I like the emptiness of the final phrases, but I think you could still go much darker in the end. The whole piece teeters on the edge of ‘wistfulness’ and could so easily move to the tragic – but perhaps you enjoy the emotional ambiguity you have established and do not want to labour it.

Small Sea

This piece does not really grab me as it seems to be struggling to find definition. It lacks tension and progresses evenly to the end. I could provide a foundation that could be layered with other lines of melody.

Little Froot

I like this a lot, and showcase some lovely skills on the guitar. I think this could go much further. Perhaps modulation of the same phrases could work really well.
