Auto Delay Compensation

A few weeks ago several of use were discussing the Auto Delay Compensation available in HD, not available in LE, and if it made a difference. ( I still hold fast that yes it does)

An automatic time adjuster plugin that is reasonably priced. I was wondering if anyone here has had any experience with it, what your thoughts were.

ATA is great. Only ever used it on a friend's set upbut it works just fine.

There's a few small niggles that you have to take care of (ie, make sure all tracks are unmuted when you ping) but those are easy to sort out.

It's a shame that you have to lose a plugin space to use it but for those running PT 8 you've got 10 plugin slots anyways...

There's a fairly comprehensive video on their website which runs you through the basics.

but anyways...still isn't acceptable that digi hasn't rectified this.

There is an ongong discussion in my circle about if and how Digidesign gimped LE to make it so cheep in comparison to HD. ADC is on the list of possible culprits, amongst the other features that are striped out. So I don't see them ever adding ADC in LE, and yeah, its a shame. Anything deeper than that would require programing chops, and I have none. Still. thanks for the feedback, I think I'll give it a go.
