Five Originals

Hi Guys & Gals,
Got Five Originals Posted on MySpace and wanted to see if anyone could give them a listen. http://www.myspace.com/thewhiteroses08. This is my first time recording an album let alone much material at all. My friend / band mate(bassist / pianist) helped me record the drums and lent his time, gear, and knowledge for the project in my small home studio. Everything was done in GarageBand 4 but hopefully the next album will be with Logic. All Criticism is welcome as I would love to hone in on my recording skills so please, comment away. Thanks for listening.

Lank

Since nobody's commented yet, I suppose I will. First off, the voice is nice. You just need a better performance to back you up to make it pop.

Life will take you on a Ride-
Intro timing on guitar to the first verse is all over the place and doesn't flow that well. I know what you intened but it didn't translate to the recording. The Triplet thing really musses the flow and is just off time. Otherwise, the rest of song sounds fine.

As far as the rest of material, everything seems to sound okay until the drums/percussion kick in. I'll just put it this way- It's pretty obvious a metronome was not used anywhere in the tracking. If you're multi tracking seperate parts instead of playing it all live together, a metronome track is essential and the drummer adheres to the tempo.
