Linking Notation packages to Reason 4

Dear Anyone.

My comp's an AMD Sempron with WinXP Pro SP2, 1`gig RAM, an ASUS ASROCK motherboard, REASON 4 and Voyetra Music Maestro Notation Package (non-Rewire compatible, but read on, read on!)

I'm disabled, can't physically play a keyboard too well, so I have to use a notation package. Voyetra's my package of choice - it's a lovely, intuitive thing that doesn't lose you amongst menus - however, it's not Reason Rewire compatible. But, and this is where I get vague and VERY ignorant, there ARE hints in the Reason Help pages that you can route the output from sequencers on your computer to the Reason MIDI Input. I could then hear the notes I put in on Reason sounds directly, instead of having to write everything using Windows GM sounds and hope it sounds 'right' on Reason sounds later. Fairly often, something that sounds 'right' on Windows sounds just doesn't 'work' on Reason sounds and you've lost another piece of music! Being able to hear what I write on Reason sounds straight off would be blissful!

Unfortunately, the Reason HELP section doesn't detail how to make the Reason MIDI IN 'hear' the signals from Maestro and I can't spot how to do it. It just says words to the effect 'it's possible to route signals from an onboard sequencer into Reason without REWIRE'. Which is tantalising, but not enough! Can anyone tell me how to do it, without using loads of techie terms, as I'm drowning in techieness and I'd love a touch of lucid simplicity.

Yours hopefully

Chrisulrich
