Vst problem in Nuendo

I've never used Vst's in Cubase or Nuendo. Recentally I got Superior Drummer 2.0 and it works great in Cubase but in Nuendo I'm having a problem.
I'm setting it up the same way I have in Cubase but when I'm in device set up and I'm selecting my midi in and out, the out being SD 2.0 for some reason once I select it and click Ok/Apply, its not staying selected. Its the same wheather I select the midi in as my midi keyboard via s/c or usb keyboard

Anyone know what might be causing the midi out to unselect as soon as I go out of device set up?

TIA

not sure i'm understanding you... but seems to me you dont choose SD2 as the out... the out would be a port... here it's internal... and then the port is set for SD2... make sense???
