How many instruments do you play ???

I am talking instruments that you actually can play, or consider yourself to play well. not just something you dabble with from time to time.

I personally play the drums and guitar and can sing if you count that.

Bass, guitar, drums (not great, but I can keep a beat), and I will play keys if coaxed (usually a few beers and I am on it).

I used to play bass and mandolin.
Now I play guitar and ztar.

Anyone who thinks playing a ztar is just like playing guitar is seriously misguided. It does take some learning time but, I'll never go back to a 13pin system.

Guitar, bass and drums I do pretty well on.

Keys are not bad but I don't read music on anything except for the clarinet and sax and I don't play those anymore.

Ahh crap, I voted before I read the post.. I'd have to change my vote then, knock a couple off the list... I can play guitar bass drums keys tuba and sing a little, but I can't do drums keys or vox too well. But that never stopped me from playing em on stage, I've filled in for every position of my friend's cover band in the past.

Just the guitar really. Keys are limited to one hand at a time and cheating with autoaccompaniment and the internal sequencer. Can keep a decent beat on the drums but any attempt at a fill and it all falls apart.

i am ok with being decent at guitar, but id really love to be better than what i am at drums.

and violin is awesome.
i can basically sort of play a scale and twinkle twinkle little start type stuff ( struggling ) but for long held out note back up stuff, i may have to start messing aroudn with recording...

yeah, it's something i took a couple years of lessons on when i was a kid, and was actually pretty good at it for awhile. i can still play reasonably on the thing but i'm certainly no longer good at it. i keep meaning to get an electric and go back at it but i'm so frigging busy with all the other instruments (i spend more time playing drums than all the others combined) as well as being a homeowner that it's gone on the back burner.

it really is a beautiful instrument though. listening to jean-luc ponty is really all anyone needs to hear what's so great about it.
