Which tape for TEAC A-4010S?
A friend has bought a mint TEAC A-4010S in a pawnshop for a ridiculous amount: 50 euros!
![]() It's seems to be new old stock and aparently working but we don't have tape. Which one we need? IS RMGI 911 1/4 OK? Do you know where we can get a metallic reel as well? Thanks in advance. |

I'll try to be more specific:
-Any 1/4 tape will work? 900, 911...? - the tape reel (for example the RMGI 911) has a bigger hole while the desk reel table has a smaller one, Do we need an adaptor? I hope you can help. Thanks in advance. |

you need tape that comes on 7 inch reels. Look for some quantegy 457 or 407 Or maybe RMG lpr35. But anything that has that big hole in it will not fit your machine.
