parts for a Kurzw. PC 88

I picked up one of these keyboards at a great price, but it was gigged with in its prior life and the plastic end-caps are broken. That is, on either side are some plastic pieces that are as wide as the keyboard.

It plays fine and i don't need to impress anyone with how good it looks, but i was curious if anyone knows where i might pick up replacement parts for these, and if something like that is fairly easy to replace.

End caps

I've read stories, more than one, in Keyboard Magazine regarding keyboardists who have broken the end caps of their keyboards for one blunder or another - who have then created their own out of wood which look pretty darn cool.

You may get a kick out of creating your own with wood, and then engrave them, or paint them, or just keep 'em as solid oak, walnut, cherry, teak, maple, or cheap pine end caps.

Maybe a blessing in disguise?

Parts dept.

At Sweetwater, maybe the largest Kurzweil distributor on the planet...

Ask for the Keyboard parts desk, which is manned by Karen. Or, call directly to her extension at 1-800-222-4700 x.1417

You cannot order keyboard parts from Sweetwater's website.
