How to drag tracks
I still learning Cubase and I noticed that when dragging tracks, it doesn't seem to go to where I want it to go exactly. It aligns with one of those line markers. The only thing that seems to work is to position the cursor after playback and move it to the cursor. Is there an easier way to do this?

Along the top there is a icon that looks like this: >l< When that is pressed (lit up) then it will make your audio 'stick' to the sequencer. Where it sticks is controlled by the drop down menus on the right of the >l< button. |

Oh wow, Thanks!! You just made my life a little easier!
I use Cubase Essential 4, by the way. |

Another trick is to hold the Ctrl key (windows - don't know about Mac) while dragging and it will lock the part in either vertical or horizontal direction depending on which way you move. So, if you want to drag a part to another track but keep the timing the same, use the Ctrl key while dragging.
