112, 112mkII, 122 and 122mkII differences?

They all look so similar...what are the differences between these Tascam cassette decks?

Sweet,
How goes it ? Well I am the original owner of a 112 The 112 is a two head deack vs the 122 is a three head machine. I believe the Mark II, III, whatever were just updates (minor changes). Very good machines. I have had mine for nearly 20 years. Just recently had to replace the pinch roller.
Best Regards, Dave

Dave,

Thanks for the info! Things are good! You?

Ohhhhkay...I get it now (2 vs. 3 head). I also notice that the 122 includes balance i/o and it is optional on the 112. The 122 also has those neat-o bias and level trimmers on the front panel...

That's pretty neat when you have a piece of gear that can keep trucking for 2 decades with little need huh?
