Hey everyone,

So I ended up buying the Focusrite Saffire LE and its been great so far! Really great interface!

Just one question about the software interface in regards to the studio monitors.

What does the "Outputs level 1 & 2 Level Dim" option do other than lower the volume?
I know when it's on, it just lowers my volume, without it, I can get a much louder volume out of my monitors, although, is there any reason why to have the option on?

Thanks a lot.
Daniel

Nothing... really, it's all it does... lets you lower the monitor volume briefly without making any changes to levels...

Ahh cheers for clarifying that.

I have another question though,

What's the best way to have the volume?
Like, I have the monitor volume knobb on the interface, then I have another volume on the software, then I have another level slider for the output 1 and 2 which are my monitors. I then have my volume on the monitors them self.

At the moment, I have the monitor volume about 80%.
I have the software volume at about 65% and the level slider as default, the middle... then I use the interface monitor knob to raise or lower the volume.

Is this right? Or is there better ways to do it?

Cheers !
