New toy! 1/4 mastering deck
Check it out my analog family! I've been searching for a good mix down deck for a while to stay in the analog realm (plus I'll get to watch TWO decks spinning at once) and finally found an MCI jh110 that I couln't pass up. The engineer in Nashville that I got it from (Chris Mara, great guy) brought it up himself, did the alignment AND aligned and teched out my ms 16 and mx70!

I must say that I've always wanted a jh-110b. Very nice machine. I keep scanning CraigsList but nothing that I can afford yet....
Lots of info on the care and feeding. Do you know if yours has the dreaded red IC sockets? Envious! --Ethan

No red ic sockets. This one is also ready to convert to 1/2 inch tape, assuming you buy the heads, tape guides, etc. But if I DID want to spend the $1000 or so it would just plug and play.

Awesome score! That is REALLY cool that he aligned the deck for you, you can't even buy that kind of service any longer..

Nah, he returned the tape and a dvd with 16 tracks of two songs. He did good.

I have no doubt he did a good job. He'll usually knock a couple bucks off if you lett him keep the tape. He likes used tape.
