MBOX 2 problem

I have a new mbox 2..im trying to simply record my drum tracks into protools using mpc2500..i have the mbox going into the stereo outs of the mpc...record enable is on...i hear musi through my headphones but im not getting a single...the only single that is showing is a constant, unmovable signal on the faders. its just there hot and not moving with the track. I don't know whats wrong..i tried everything i know how so know I have to go with the professionals. pLease someone help me out here. thanks
