The Guild of International Songwriters and Composers

Have any of you had any involvement with this outfit?

Is it worth joining? When I enquired of a Music company whether or not they accepted unsolicited demos, they said that they prefer to hear from members of this organisation.

Was the Music Co. in anyway associated with the guild? Always one to watch.

I know nothing of this group - but 'guild' always makes me think of people dressed like Druids sacrificing virgins and goats; or virgin goats which ever comes first! Still if it gets you a hit record I suppose no sacrifice is too great.

Yes - it turns out that Panama Music are at the same address as the Guild.

Strange - in the current SONGWRITERS MARKET, Panama are listed as being open to unsolicited demos.
