Audio Technica ATM63 Dynamic Mic

Audio Technica ATM63-HE -well constructed and can be used anywhere you'd put a 58. I've used these for live micing of acoustic guitars and also used one on live vocals once.

I'd describe the sound as less nasally than a 57/58 with a rounder bottom end.

it looks a lot like the ATM29-HE...I have had a total of 3 of those, but Im down to just 1 now...from your description, Id say they are very similar in sound as well...I like it on snare much better than a 57....and Iv used them on live guitar cabs as well....all around...nice mic....

oh yea...they are at least as heavy as a 57....maybe heavier...
