Kramer Pacer Imperial Reissue 2008

http://www.musicyo.com/product_specs.asp?pf_id=1328

This is a November 2008 release. The guitar is so new - has anyone seen one at a music store or tried one out? I have one from 1983-ish with banana headstock and rosewood fretboard. Wondering what this one sounds/plays like. Mine will soon be in need of a fret job or neck. This is an interesting alternative, albeit a few more bucks....

I haven't seen the new one -- I used to have one of those, too, back in the '80s - it was nice.

Doink is on a distinguished road
A buddy of mine bought one of the Baretta reissues. He's not very fond of it. He says if he had to do it over, he'd have bought an original on the bay.

I must have missed something- SURELY a refret will cost far less than $1100...

From what I've heard it's around $400 for a refret. The luthier at my local shop says it may not be possible due to scarf joint issues and a bump on the fretboard. I have to consult with him to see if that is a for sure thing as I would love to get a fret job instead of a new guitar or neck.
