Acoustic version of "Drive"

Been a while since I posted. This is a very simple, stripped version of this Incubus song. I did experiment a bit with effects on the vocals and the lead guit.

Feedback appreciated. I'm listening to it right now and am already identifying areas that need fixing.

Thanks in advance.

That bad, huh?

I'll try to remix and get rid of some effects and the pitchy vocal parts.

I like it. I could hear a little noise in the background, but it sounds fine.

Sounds pretty good. I think is has too much FX on the vox and its a little noisy, but other than that, its a very nice tune and a nice mix.

Hi Sage,
This is really very good actually and you're brave to do something so bare. Well played with very strong vocals. Nicely stripped back too, but in contrast to others, I say add more (subtle) effects to pump in some extra atmosphere.

Great job either way,
Dreamer

Thanks Rick, John Paul, Marcadiablo and Dreamer. The noise in the background is a combo of the fan on my AKAI DAW (it's there in all my recordings) or my 11 y.o. kid running around the house like he's supposed to.

I need to fix that noisy fan or maybe its the hard drive. I'll also try to experiment taking out effects and adding different ones.

Rick, I'm trying to out of my comfort zone and do songs other than JT, Croce, etc.

Thanks again for listening.

OK - new mix posted with less effects and patched up areas.

Please let me know what you think.
