Kurzweil K programming help needed

I cannot figure out how to assign a Note number to my foot continuous controller from Setup mode.

Looking in the manual, if I enter "37" from the numeric keypad into the value for the continuous controller 1 while in Setup mode, that assigns "KeyNum" for the destination. Fine. But then how do I tell it which KeyNum to use?

I'm trying to trigger notes on my keyboard from the continuous controller, similar to how you can do so from any of the 4 foot pedal inputs (i.e. Note momentary, or Note toggle).

I have tried assigning the destination to CC1 as the foot pedal3 which I programmed to be Note momentary, but that logic did not work.

I realize that when I move my CC1 pedal past the half-way point, that I want it to trigger a certain note at that point, but do not know how to further program the CC1 KeyNum parameter.

Help please.

not sure you can do this... as i understand it... with a cc port what you have is a voltage supplied ro a pot... the sweep then is sent to the controll line... when the port is assigned to a parameter the @change applied to the parameter is then proportional to the point the sweep is at... make sense??? so the port might only be at the trigger #in passing and not trigger...

You are right

Thanks. I took your answer and confirmed it on a Kurzweil user group site.

'Appreciate your response.
