Recording with my line 6 pod x3???

Is there a way i can just plug in my pod to my pc and record. i downloaded sony acid software but that got me nowhere. Thanks...

do you have the Pod hooked to your PC? should go from the Pod into the usb port of your computer...

i cant seem to get my pod to show up on the imputs section, any help...

ok. So i got the guitar to come up on the screen, but it says "cannot record, directory does not exist"

The only way the POD X3 will actually show up in your input section is if you have the Line 6 USB drivers for the POD installed. Then it will.

You don't need to use USB though. You can hook up your X3 to your computer either through analog cables or S/PDIF. I use S/PDIF myself. Of course you will need a sound card or interface that has these inputs.
