It Pays To Do Your Homework

Wanting to upgrade from the Epiphone OBL singles in my strat copy, I saw a post on Atlanta Craigs List for some pups, including a SSS set of Fender Bullet's. Seller says they are from an '83 Japan Squire Bullet 1, resistance is 7.2 ohms. He also said the guitar was a great piece, solid alder body, great reviews, yada, yada, yada.

So I googled Fender Squire Bullet 1. Wikipedia said, among other not-too-glowing things, "The body was made of laminated hardwood..."

Caveat Emptor!

Ditto, my Pops bought me a white Fender Squire Bullet Series in 1993 or 94. Not sure if it's just that we have a history together or if I genuinely like the guitar, but it's always in my hands. Either way, I <3 that thing!
