Rawbeats2000 is on a distinguished road
need serious help

I have the motif es8 and the akai mpc2500 im trying to midi the two together having the mpc as the master ive done everything both manuals have told me to do and i been to 8 forums maybe all over the inter net can any one please help me on this

It would help if you were more specific as to what you exactly need to accomplish here. I can only assume that you intend to use the mpc to control the voices on the motif? are you then trying to sample the audio back to the mpc or are you sequencing in the motif? or are you syncing the two to play into a third device or computer or something? Basically you need to make sure the mpc is set to transmit midi out on say channel 1( should be default) then set the es8 to recieve in on channel 1 ( should be default) then you must remember tht this is only going to communicate control, not sound! you will then take the audio out of the motif to wherever you may go. Hope that helps, try explaining exactly what you need?
