I read the thread where they are looking for moderators, and I thought, this is great, I will rule over this board with an iron fist!

Then they said they weren't looking for policemen, just cleaning up spammers. I mean, isn't that what cops do, clean up the filth? "Someday a real rain will come and wash all the scum off the streets" kinda thing?

Anyway, I didn't want to be a cop, I wanted to be more like the leader of a fascist paramilitary organization. I wouldn't be so much into banning as modifying posts to mock the enemies of the state! So this moderator thing I guess isn't for me.

Instead, I have appointed myself moderateur-for-life! So bow down! Bow down before the king of putrescence!

Oooh, I could do some evil things there. First, something non-evil: I'd retitle Harvey's Big Thread as "Harvey's Big Thread". Then, I'd change the name of the group buy thread to "Mass Import of Defective Communist Equipment"

Sigs do nothing for me. Contrary to apl's statement, I only had a sig briefly in 2006, and I have sigs turned off. I find them mostly annoying on other boards, as people are wont to include 800x600 images in their sigs

I would extend the character length of the title to 80 characters, and allow hypertext instead.
