Please Help (porgraming Midi Controller)

I am new to home recording so I may sound stupid in many of my post b/c I'm such a green pea. I have a mac running logic pro, logic le, garageband, and fruity loops (apple/widows boot camp). I am really a Mac kinda guy so I would really like to use Logic more than anything.

I have 17 DVD's worth of all wav samples sounds. (korg triton, yamaha mostif, roland fantom x ect). I just started up a small time home recording studio and I have an older lil midi controller (m-audio radium 49) and the m-audio trigger finger.

MY QUESTION IS.......how do I program my wav sounds to play by pressing the keys on the midi controllers? I have the midi controllers working. I can select to play a virtual instrument using the midi keyboard or drum pad. All that works fine. I just don't know how to get my sampled sounds to play from the midi controllers. All I can do with them is import them as a track on my software. Thats not what I want to do. So how do I program the midi controller?

Can anyone help me out. I'd appreciate it.
