Question

Althought I've decided to take the "slowly buy good mics one at a time" method, one of my good friends was considering ordering a ton of Nady SP9 mics, since they're so cheap. I Personally have come to the conclusion that using cheap mics doesn't bother me much, I like most of the stuff I record to have a rougher edge to it, and the cheap mics I currently use don't really mess anything up, and I'd imagine they'd be better than those mics. I've searched the forums and have found some interesting comments about Nadys, but what I really want to know is has anyone used these particular mics before and if so what were your impressions on them? Or something.

one guy i talked to said he got great sound from them, and he gave me a clip. i dont have it anymore, but it sounded pretty good. nothing fantastic, but decent. he got 6 of them, one for bass, guitar, vocals, and 3 on drums i believe. all for around 160 or something. check www.musiciansfriend.com
