I'm thinking about picking up 3 or 4 of these 24x24 panels from ATS to place around a princeton amp and act as gobo's essentially. Would it make a great enough difference in isolating the amp to justify getting these?

It depends on what you mean by "isolating the amp." If you just want to remove some of the room reflections from being picked up by the mic in front of the amp then, yes, they will help. If you want to decrease the overall amount of volume in the room, you really need an isolation box, as a few panels aren't going to do anything.

yes more or less just to cut down on everything but the amps sound directly at the mic. I get a great sound from it already but thought that some gobo's would tighten things up a bit more.
